Non-governmental organizations - civil society's, the guarantor of a successful creation. This project is for a non-governmental organizations (NGOs)activity building in Klaipeda region. The project funded by the European Economic Area and Norwegian funds, will be implemented by the Western Lithuania Consumer Federation together with the Klaipeda County Lawyers Club. Underway of proceeding the project will be carried out the NGOs operating effectiveness study, training courses and created NGOs activities map. These measures will help achieve the main goal of the project - to strengthen the region of Klaipeda NGO institutional capacity and operational efficiency.

"Sustainable lifestyle: how much does the knowledge cost” (2009)
The project is to collect and provide clear, understandable, concentrated and easily accessible information on sustainable consumption, consumer rights and invironmental issues. The main objective of the project is to develop life-long education systems, quality and innovation on the strengthening of cooperation and partnership with the Nordic education sector and contributing to a common Nordic - Baltic education space. E-Education aim is to form the general consumer perception of virtual education, learning how to understand and manage knowledge, to analyze and make decisions, gain practical skills in these areas. This project was developed within the framework of a virtual education module for lifelong learning, and who is perceived as a gross human education. This module is adapted virtual learning environment, and consumers can use it through information communication technologies, so studying this virtual textbook, they will be able to develop their technical skills, knowledge and skills on sustainable consumption, consumer rights and environmental issues, which are essential for adults, consumer living in modern society. „Innovative consumer education - public information and promote awareness" (2007-2009)
Grundtvig Learning Partnership program within the framework of the project "Innovative consumer education - public information and awareness-raising" (EDUCON) is to improve the quality of adult education and access to, in close cooperation with the international adult education institutions. EDUCON project partners from Italy, Spain and Lithuania are ready to offer guidance in adult education and consumer education in the areas where rare, clear concepts and appropriate recommendations. The development of this project product - e-textbook consumers - a comparison between the situation of the project partners' countries. Work in this project brought together EU partners from different traditions and practices from which the thoughtful work of a team. The project was carried out within the framework of such activities: tours, offering Web pages designed for monitoring in accordance with the questionnaires, the European Union tourist and leisure travel and tour directive analysis, comparative analysis between the EU directives and national legislation, adapting Directive in Lithuania, the results of the comment, is translated into Lithuanian language summarizing the results of the project material.
